Chili Braised Beef Tips


1 pound top sirloin or filet, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon chili powder

½ tablespoon granulated garlic

¼ teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper, or to taste

½ cup soy sauce

½ cup Rouses Olive Oil

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon light brown sugar

Juice of one lime

Your choice Mission Foods tortillas


Thoroughly combine all ingredients except steak in a small mixing bowl to make the marinade. Place steak cubes in marinade. Let steak marinate for 1 hour, stirring mixture occasionally.

Sear steak cubes on a grill set on high (or in a skillet over high heat) to desired doneness, about 10 minutes, turning cubes occasionally. Remove steak cubes from grill or skillet, and place in your favorite variety Mission Foods tortilla with garnish of your choice of toppings.
