Freret Faire at the Rouses Market on Freret Street in New Orleans
Freret Faire, our in-store restaurant at our new Rouses Market on Freret and Valence in Uptown New Orleans, is open 7am to 5pm every day.
The New Orleans expression “making groceries” is a rough translation from the French, “faire son marché,” which means to do the grocery shopping. The French verb “faire” means “to do” or “to make.” Breakfast and lunch at Freret Faire are “fait sur commande” or made to order.
