KING’S HAWAIIAN®

SWEET ISLAND CHICKEN SANDWICH

Ingredients

8 Boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 Avocados, thinly sliced
1 Cucumber, peeled thinly sliced long ways
1 Head butter lettuce, washed and separated
1 Bottle King’s Hawaiian Sweet Island Ginger Sauce (or other bottled sweet ginger sauce)
1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger buns

Directions

1. In a large plastic bag, combine chicken and 1c King’s Hawaiian Sweet Island Ginger Sauce. Let marinade in fridge for 4 hours.
2. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Place chicken on grill and cook each side for approx 5-6 mins or until thoroughly cooked, brushing on more sauce in between if you prefer.
3. Build your sandwich. Bottom bun, sriracha mayo, butter lettuce, grilled chicken thigh, cucumber, avocado, sesame seed garnish and top bun.
